Situation
This charming Valais house is located in the upper western part of Riederalp, just a five-minute walk from the west cable car and the grocery store. The apartment has a south-facing balcony, which ensures optimal sunshine all year round and also guarantees absolute peace and quiet.
Riederalp is located in the heart of the Aletsch Arena and, together with Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp, is part of the unique Aletsch region, which is part of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site
Municipality
The municipality of Riederalp in the canton of Valais lies at an altitude of 1,905 meters and is car-free. It is easily accessible by cable car or gondola lift from Mörel. With around 440 inhabitants, over 6,000 guest beds and around 300,000 overnight stays per year, tourism is the most important economic sector, supported by the hotel and restaurant industry. Riederalp has an elementary school in Ried-Mörel as well as various clubs and sports facilities. As an energy town, the municipality is committed to sustainability, with almost all of its electricity coming from hydropower

Public transport
Riederalp is completely car-free. Only electric vehicles and a few agricultural vehicles operate in the village. The Alpe is easily accessible from Mörel by cable car or gondola lift
