The idyllic village of Albinen, nestled on a sunny mountainside at an altitude of 1300 m, towers high above the Rhône Valley and is just 7 km or a 12-minute drive from the renowned spa and thermal resort of Leukerbad. Public transport

Albinen is well connected to the surrounding villages by public transport. The most important connection is by bus, which runs regularly between Albinen and Leuk. Leuk has a railroad station on the SBB line, which operates trains between Visp and Sion.

From Leuk there are direct train connections to larger towns such as Brig, Sion and Martigny, Lausanne and Geneva as well as via Visp via the NEAT tunnel to Bern, Base and Zurich. These connections make it relatively easy and quick to travel to the larger region, despite the remoteness of Albinen.
In addition, there are also connections to Leukerbad, which is located nearby and is known as a thermal spa
