Municipality
The municipality of Crans-Montana was formed in 2017 through the merger of Chermignon, Mollens, Montana, and Randogne, and today has a population of approximately 10,500.
It spans 6,000 hectares from the Rhône Valley to the high mountains—and is one of the most famous vacation destinations in French-speaking Valais, characterized by alpine tourism, an international clientele, and a correspondingly well-developed infrastructure.
Access
Crans-Montana is easily accessible via the A9 highway to Sierre and from there via the mountain road.
